They know themselves to be different and are driven to think, feel or see st a level of intensity that makes for originality, creativity, passion, and, in some instances, great personal upheaval. Sometimes misunderstood, rejected, or simply ignored by the majority, their lives nevertheless remain a source of fascination and wisdom in relation to the central question of what it means to be human.
