Terms and conditions subject to change 

1) SALE OFFER 

a) When an order is placed through www.cathedralcentrebooks.com, by completing the electronic order form for any materials or products, the buyer is making an offer to purchase which, if accepted by www.cathedralcentrebooks.com, will result in a binding contract between yourself and www.cathedralcentrebooks.com 

The contract with www.cathedralcentrebooks.com will commence when  www.cathedralcentrebooks.com responds to the buyer’s order via email, letter or phone call, confirming the receipt of the order and informing you that the order is being processed. www.cathedralcentrebooks.com thus agrees to supply the products listed. Upon completion of your order an automatic email will be send informing you that the order has been received.  

b) Any advice or recommendations given by any representative of cathedralcentrebooks.com to the buyer relating to resources which is not confirmed in writing by cathedralcentrebooks.com will not be binding on cathedralcentrebooks.com 

c) Any variation to these terms and conditions will be acknowledged on the website. 

d) We use the English language throughout the website and for all correspondence. No other languages are available.  

2) ORDERING 

a) In submitting an order the buyer acknowledges that: 

b) All information and specifications relating to the resources produced by a publisher are approximate and all errors on the website may be corrected without any liability to cathedralcentrebooks.comBook covers may vary from those supplied because of monitor and printer capabilities and changes made by publishers.  

c) cathedralcentrebooks.com may make any changes to the specification of the resources to conform to any statutory or European requirements. 

3) RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL 

a) The buyer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 7 working days of submitting the order for the resources by giving written notice of withdrawal and cathedralcentrebooks.com shall credit the buyer's card for the price of the resources withdrawn. This will include any charges made against small orders and any postage charge. 

4) PRICING POLICY 

a) The price of the resources shall be the price as quoted on the website on the date the order was placed, subject to any inadvertent pricing errors (whether technical or otherwise) by cathedralcentrebooks.com. A confirmed buying price will be sent to the buyer when cathedralcentrebooks.com has accepted the buyer’s order by e-mail or letter. 

b) The price of the resources may not include the cost of delivery. For such orders, the buyer will pay the delivery charge as quoted on the website on the day of purchase.  

c) The price of the resources includes any applicable Value Added Tax (VAT), which the buyer shall be liable to pay cathedralcentrebooks.com. 

5) CREDIT CARDS  

a) Credit and Debit cards accepted by cathedralcentrebooks.com are displayed throughout the website. 

b) All charges to credit/debit cards will be made at the time the goods are dispatched. Any fraudulent use of Credit/Debit cards will be notified to the authorities along with any identification details that were supplied with the order. 

c) Any refund made to the Buyer's credit or Debit card shall be subject to the Terms and Conditions of the Issuing Bank and therefore be subject to any time delay as specified by the Issuing Bank. No liability shall be placed on cathedralcentrebooks.co.uk for any delay that is outside of their control. A correct cardholder name and address must be supplied with every order if it is different to the buyer's. 

d) All accepted orders will be processed by Cathedral Centre Books3 Ford StreetSalford, M3 6DP United Kingdom, registered in England no: 03205602 VAT number: 145262872 . We will debit your payment card for these goods and our name will appear on your statement against the purchase. 

e) The price of the resources includes any applicable Value Added Tax (VAT), which the buyer shall be liable to pay cathedralcentrebooks.com. 

6) DELIVERY 

a) The buyer must give cathedralcentrebooks.com adequate delivery instructions should any extenuating circumstances apply. Without such instruction, then no duty of care shall apply; any loss or damage or deterioration to the items shall not render cathedralcentrebooks.com liable. If the buyer does not take delivery of the item(s) then, again, this shall not render cathedralcentrebooks.com liable. 

b) If the buyer does not receive all the goods as specified on the original order then the buyer must notify cathedralcentrebooks.com in writing within 14 working days from the date of delivery. If the buyer does not notify cathedralcentrebooks.com in writing within the specified time then no liability will be attached to cathedralcentrebooks.com. In any event any loss or damage suffered by the buyer as a result of such a delivery shall be limited to the price of the goods not delivered or the cost of replacement resources. 

c) Risk of damage or loss of the resources shall pass to the Buyer on delivery or, if the Buyer fails to take delivery of the Goods, the time when the Supplier has tried to deliver the Goods.  

d) Title shall pass to the buyer on delivery of the goods. 

7) WARRANTY AND OWNERSHIP 

a) Subject to conditions, cathedralcentrebooks.com warrants that the items will correspond with the order and be free from damage or defects. If cathedralcentrebooks.com is in breach of the warranty the buyer must inform cathedralcentrebooks.com within 14 working days from the date that a defect or damage was discovered.  

On receiving a notice of failure of warranty cathedralcentrebooks.com may either replace all the faulty items or refund the price of the resources that are damaged or defective. This shall be the extent of the liability of cathedralcentrebooks.com and no consequential loss claim of any kind shall be made against cathedralcentrebooks.com. 

b) If the buyer is returning an item due to an error on the part of cathedralcentrebooks.com or because it is defective, cathedralcentebooks.com is happy to refund the delivery charges incurred in sending the item to the buyer and the buyer’s costs in returning it to cathedralcentrebooks.com. Where the buyer is withdrawing from their purchase within the seven working days cooling-off period, cathedralcentrebooks.com will also refund the normal postage charge for the delivery of that item, however, cathedralcentrebooks.com cannot refund any priority, express or courier component of the postage charge. The buyer will be responsible for those additional postage charges and the costs of any other services provided to the buyer in connection with their purchase, for example gift-wrapping. 

8) STATUTORY RIGHTS 

a) If the buyer is unhappy with their purchases, then they can return it to cathedralcentrebooks.com in its original condition within 14 days of the date they receive the item.  

b) According to law (seven day cooling-off period), the buyer has the right to withdraw from their purchase of an item within seven working days of the date that the item was delivered to the buyer. However, cathedralcentrebooks.com is unable to accept cancellations of purchase of video, DVD, audio and software products where the items has been unsealed. 

c) If the buyer wishes to cancel their purchase within the cooling-off period, it would be beneficial if the buyer were to include a note explaining the reason for the return as “contract cancellation.” The buyer must package the item securely, including the delivery slip and send it to cathedralcentrebook.com within seven working days of the day after the date that the item was delivered.

d) For the buyer’s protection, we recommend that the buyer use a recorded-delivery service.  

e) Please note that the buyer will be responsible for the costs incur in returning the items to cathedralcentrebooks.com, unless cathedralcentrebooks.com sent the item by mistake or if the item is faulty. As soon as cathedralcentrebooks.com receives notice of the buyer’s cancellation of an order, cathedralcentrebooks.com will refund the relevant part of the purchase price for the items, in addition to the item’s nominal postage charge. Cathedralcentrebooks.com cannot refund any priority, express or courier component of the postage fee.

9WITHDRAWAL OF GOODS 

a) cathedralcentrebooks.com may withdraw the sale or distribution of any resources produced by or generally supplied by cathedralcentrebook.com without prior notice, or liability, to the buyer.  

 
10COURT JURISDICTION 

a) The Contract and these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to English law and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts. These Terms and Conditions are also in line with The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 and the EU Distance Sales Directive of 1998 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003.
